DEPUTY FIRE MARSHAL

The Deputy Fire Marshall inspects residential, commercial and/or industrial Town properties for compliance with the NYS Fire Code and other related local laws. Duties include public relations and education outreach such as fire prevention education/training for students (K-12) and local business owners/employees. The work is performed under the general direction of the Town Fire Marshall with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in planning and carrying out the details of the work. Alternate Crossing Guard 

The Town of Queensbury is currently accepting applications for an Alternate Crossing Guard for Queensbury schools on Aviation Rd. This position fills in on call for the regular guards who’s hours are 7:00-8:30 am and 2:00 to 3:30 pm and follows the school calendar, excluding snow days. The hours can be more at times of greater need, and sometimes advanced notice, paid training. Possibility to become a regular when position opens. Hourly wage is $19.90 per hour.
